Eid Al-Adha ( The Festival of Forfeiture )

When the mantle of enigma
Is drawn asunder
Unanticipated beauty emerges
From the throes of complexness

The light of realisation
Refulgences upon thee
The tryout goes a journeying
Toward inward light

Recall how Abraham swan the dark
Distraught by a haunting disclosure
Turning his thenar to the sky
Praying for the life of his first boy

Shaytaan stood by the route
Merely to visit fearfulness and lead astray
Venture through dark, Oxygen ' Abraham
The Manus of Creation will head you to Paradise 's residence

Remember Maine, tells the Merciful One
Anyone who denounces Shaytaan
And believes in ME holds grasped the strongest bond
One that ne'er interrupts [ Qur'an, 2: 256 ]

Ibrahim responded: You are my Godhead, my Jehovah
Merely You can relinquish me from such torture
Flaming of my Psyche, Root of my Beingness
You pulverise and You reconstruct

My Friend, my Honey, my Invariable
When I was scared, You delivered me
When I was exclusively, You comprehended me
When I was happy, You treasured me

You do me dance, You do me shout
You do me smile, You do me tremble
You do me find, You do me interrogation
You do me dwell, You do me choke

And then loyal Ibrahim entered the cypress gardens
Fearless Ismail lay his caput beneath his begetter 's blade
Ibrahim fixed his knife: For You, my Spiritual Rex
But an Angel of Light interpose and terminated the incumbrance

No trauma was maked to his dear boy
And therefore, the message of Religion was revealed
Out of secret came enlightenment
A lesson to be acquired and recollected

Lovers, Trusters, Submitters
Whatever names you name them
They, like Ibrahim, resignation to the call of Love
That is their Religion, their bond with the Eternal Shielder

The bond that ne'er interrupts
